We recently stayed at the Marriott Grand Dunes and overall, it was a lovely vacation. The hotel has beautiful grounds and direct beach access, which we really appreciated. However, the breakfast experience didn't quite meet our expectations, and we were a bit disappointed with the room size considering we had booked for five people. Overall, it was a solid experience but with room for improvement.

Our room was spacious but only had two queen beds instead of accommodating five people as expected. The lack of housekeeping for two nights was also a downside.

While the staff was courteous, we found some aspects lacking, particularly with our breakfast vouchers, which didn't cover all our guests despite our booking.

The hotel is a beautiful resort right on the beach with easy access to everything in Myrtle Beach. While the property and buildings are very nice and provide plenty of activities for the kids, I found the prices for food and drink to be outrageously high.
